Men to stand trial for murder Amjad Khan
Two men are due to stand trial tomorrow charged with murdering a man in Oldbury.
Police were called to a property in Yardley Close, Bristnall Fields, just before 1am on June 8 last year and found seriously injured Amjad Khan.
Mr Khan, aged 32 and from the Handsworth area of Birmingham, was found with head injuries and died five days later in hospital on June 13.
Police believed it could have been a targeted attack.
Derek Brennan, aged 32, and Daman Sehra, aged 22, both of no fixed address, were arrested at the scene and later charged with Mr Khan's murder.
They had previously pleaded not guilty to the charge at Wolverhampton Crown Court in July last year.
Brennan and Sehra are due to face a two-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court, which is due to start on Tuesday.
