Car engulfed in flames in Oldbury
A car engulfed in flames in a suspected arson attack was compared to a scene from sci-fi film The Terminator by fire crews.
The blaze was reported to crews shortly after 11pm on Monday night.
It happened on Lions Farm playing fields in Brunel Road, Oldbury.
Oldbury Fire Station tweeted to say: "Some might say this is a burning Ford Fiesta on Lion Farm estate, Oldbury. Fans of the #Terminator films might be more suspicious."
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said: "All of the car was involved in the fire. We had hose reel jets to but the blaze out and left the scene shortly after midnight.
"Two crews from Oldbury and West Bromwich, with eight firefighters attended."
Police are yet to confirm whether the incident was an arson attack.
