All lanes reopen on M6 near Great Barr after broken down lorry forced earlier closure
Three of four lanes were closed on the M6 near Great Barr due to a broken down lorry.

Two lanes were initially shut on the southbound carriageway between Junction 7 for Great Barr and Junction 6 for the A38/Birmingham on Tuesday afternoon (February 18).
National Highways West Midlands warned motorists of long delays as a result of the lane closures just before 5pm.

Writing to X, formerly Twitter, it said: "Two lanes (of four) are now closed on the M6 southbound in the West Midlands between J7 (Great Barr) and J6 (A38M, Birmingham) due to a broken down lorry.
"Recovery has been arranged. There is already an hour delay in the area due to an earlier incident between J5 and J4a."
In an update at about 5.15pm, National Highways said three lanes had closed.
It later said the incident had cleared with all lanes reopen though warned delays of around an hour remained on approach to the area.
