Collision on M6 sparked 40-minute delays near Great Barr
A collision on the between Junction 5 and 6 on the M6 southbound caused delays of up to 40 minutes near Great Barr this morning.

West Midlands Roads warned commuters of the collision that blocked the live lane between the Spaghetti Junction and Castle Bromwich this morning.
Delays were expected to last around 40 minutes, affecting traffic up to Junction 7 in Great Barr.
The lane has since reopened but delays continue in the area.
In an update shared on X, a spokesperson for West Midlands Roads wrote: "#ClearedWM#M6 southbound between J6 #SpaghettiJunction and J5 #CastleBromwich slip lanes have reopened. Delays remain but should begin to improve."
