Two taken to hospital after Black Country crash
Two people were taken to hospital following a two-car crash in the Black Country.
The accident took place in Newton Road, Great Barr, at 8.40pm last night.
West Midlands Fire Service said two people were taken to hospital for checks.
Photographs from the scene showed two vehicles which had sustained damage.
One had its engine compartment hanging out and the other had its rear offside wheel missing.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "The call came in at 8.40pm last night.
"We had two crews in attendance from West Bromwich. One man was rescued using cutting equipment. Everyone else had self extricated.
"It was involving two vehicles. They had both come to rest on four wheels."
