Long delays on M6 by Great Barr after multi-vehicle crash

A crash involving three cars and a lorry on the M6 Great Barr is causing long delays for motorists.

The M6 has been partially closed after the crash

Emergency services are at the scene between Junction 7 southbound for Great Barr and Junction 6 for Spaghetti Junction due to a serious collision.

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes.

Highways England has said the incident has resulted in delays of more than 30 minutes, with slow traffic all the way to Junction 10 for Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Lanes two, three and four have been closed while traffic officers are at the scene.

West Midlands Police confirmed the crash involved three cars and a lorry. West Midlands Ambulance Service said paramedics were also at the scene.

It is not yet known if anyone is injured.
