Sandwell Police have said that a man was arrested on suspicion of burglary after they were alerted to a suspect attempting to access properties on Peak House Road, Sandwell.
The police were informed of the incident at around 10.15pm on Monday night (December 30) and after swift action by officers, a 26-year-old man was arrested nearby.
The man will now be questioned by officers over two attempted burglaries.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We've arrested a suspected burglar after swift work by officers in Sandwell.
"We were alerted to attempts to access properties in Peak House Road, Great Barr, at around 10.15pm last night.
"Our officers were quickly on the scene and arrested a 26-year-old man nearby. He will now be questioned over two attempted burglaries."
