A jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court sitting at Park Hall Hotel found Stella Oglio guilty of one count of fraud following a trial.

The defendant, of Oldbury, had previously pleaded not guilty to dishonestly and intending thereby to make a gain for herself or another failed to disclose to Sandwell Council information which she was under a legal duty to disclose, namely that she did not employ a carer for her daughter as she was required to do under a Direct Payments Agreement and continued to receive the Direct Payments to which she was not entitled between October 2013 and May 2018.
