Market Drayton driver admits having a 'few drinks' after police notice 'poor' driving
A driver was arrested in Market Drayton after police noticed a vehicle being driven "to a poor standard".

West Mercia officers performed a stop of the Land Rover Discovery in Market Drayton overnight on Tuesday after noticing what they said was a "vehicle driving to a poor standard".
The driver reportedly told police they had consumed a "few drinks" and were subsequently arrested following a breathalyzer test.

PC Owen Kinsey said: "Whilst B-Shift Response officers have been out conducting patrols on the roads to ensure that all drivers are abiding by the laws, PC Higgs and PC France have noticed a vehicle driving to a poor standard.
"This vehicle was stopped and the driver admitted to having a “few” drinks, the driver was breathalyzed where they blew 46 Micrograms per 100 milliliters of breath, the UK drink drive limit is 35 Micrograms per 100 milliliters of breath.
"This driver was subsequently arrested, for Section 5 Road Traffic Act."
