Dudley man, 35, arrested on suspicion of attempted rape of woman in Wordsley
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape after a woman was attacked in a wooded area in Wordsley.
The woman, in her 20s, was attacked close to Bells Lane on Saturday afternoon at around 2.15pm.
A 35-year-old man, from Dudley, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape and remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers, Staffordshire Police said.
