Hagley Wood Lane has now been closed by police today after visitors flocked to the area on Saturday.

Police said the surge of visitors on Saturday caused "chaos" on surrounding roads.

On Saturday evening, Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), posted on Twitter: "Hagley Wood Lane closed due to parking chaos. Please don't attempt to park up there tomorrow [Sunday] as the road will still be closed."

While West Mercia Police's North Worcestershire Police team confirmed the closure on Sunday, adding: "Hagley Wood Lane in Clent is closed today [Sunday].

"Yesterday [Saturday] saw a surge in visitors to the Clent Hills which caused chaos on surrounding village roads and parking that would hinder access for emergency vehicles in the area."
