Car crashes into lorry on Stourbridge Road
A woman and a child had to be helped from a car by emergency services after it crashed into a flat bed lorry on Stourbridge Road.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene at about 1.45pm yesterday.
A spokeswoman for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call from the police at 1.45pm and it was a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, one car was blocking the road.
"We mobilised one appliance from Bromsgrove, one from Stourbridge and an officer.
"One car had driven into the rear of a 7.5 tonne flat bed lorry on the road.
"The car was stabilised by our fire crew, one female child and one female adult released themselves with the assistance of the fire service and ambulance service.
"They received precautionary checks and I believe they were conveyed to hospital by ambulance as well."
