Christopher Oliver was due to run the London Marathon this month, but as it has been postponed until October due to the coronavirus pandemic, he has decided to run it locally on April 24.

The firefighter will run 280 laps of the station to raise funds for NHS Charities Together.

His target is £1,000.

One the page he says: "I was due to run the London Marathon in April but as this has been postponed until October I thought I would run 26.2 miles around Stourbridge Fire Station’s yard to raise money for the ‘NHS Charities together’.

"The money raised will help to support the welfare and mental wellbeing of our amazing frontline NHS staff, carers and volunteers during this challenging time."
