Investigation ongoing into industrial death at Rowley Regis firm, inquest told
An investigation into the death of a 23-year-old man at a building material supplier in Rowley Regis is still ongoing, an inquest heard.
Mitchell Pountney, from Stourbridge, died on September 2 at his workplace, Cutting Edge Skirting on Station Road.
The Health and Safety Executive launched an investigation into the incident.
But questions remain over his death, with no direct witnesses to the accident and no CCTV.
A pre-inquest review was held at Black Country Coroner's Court in Oldbury yesterday and Coroner Zafar Siddique is due to receive an update on the case on January 28, it was heard.
Aston Villa fan Mr Pountney was described by his colleagues as "very well-liked".
