Family pay tribute to Oldbury motorcyclist killed in Stourbridge crash
The family of an Oldbury motorcyclist who was killed in a crash near Stourbridge have paid tribute to the 'wonderful, funny man'.
Patrick Hendy died when his Triumph motorcycle was involved in a crash with a Mercedes C180 on the A458 Bridgnorth Road, near Stourton, at around 1pm on June 23.
The 48-year-old suffered serious injuries and died at the scene, near to the Fox Inn.
His heartbroken family have said they are 'devastated' by his death.
In a statement, they said: "Patrick was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, who will be greatly missed by us all.
"We are utterly devastated by our loss of such a wonderful, funny man.
"We would like to thank our family and friends for their support at this sad time, and to all the emergency services involved."
His family are being supported by specially trained officers and have asked that their privacy be respected.
Staffordshire Police's Collision Investigation Unit has launched an investigation into the crash. Any witnesses can call the force on 101.
