Stourbridge crash: Hit-and-run victim Andrew Holdaway dies in hospital
A father has died in hospital eight days after he was involved in a hit-and-run crash.
Police have confirmed Andrew Holdaway, 62, has died after the collision on Norton Road, Stourbridge last Monday.
Mr Holdaway's rare 1950s vintage Dellow MK1 car was involved in the smash with a Ford Mondeo.
Three men in the Mondeo fled the scene in the direction of the Old White Horse pub, prompting a police appeal.
Mr Holdaway managed to free himself from the wreckage before he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
He was left in a critical condition following the crash, which sparked an appeal for witnesses from his son Ben on Facebook.
However, a police spokesman today confirmed today Mr Holdaway has died.
