Stourbridge dentists' fond farewell to trainee
A dental practice in Stourbridge is all smiles after one of its trainees won a place at Kings College University to study dental hygiene therapy.
Worcester Street Dental Practice bid a fond farewell to trainee dental nurse Nikita Arora after 18 months as she left to study at the college in London.
She was working at the practice while studying for her A-Levels and is now aiming to pursue a career in dental hygiene therapy after the three year course finishes. It includes a mixture of lectures and hands-on clinical skills teaching.
Emma Crideford area manager said: "All the practice and patients are absolutely delighted that Nikita is one of 30 students who successfully gained a place at Kings College University in London out of 250 candidates to study Dental Hygiene Therapy. We are thrilled with her achievement and really pleased that the practice was able to support her success."
Nikita said: "I have loved my time at Worcester Street and have got to know all of the staff and patients really well, many of which have become like family. The great experience I have had here will be the foundation of my career. I am gutted to be leaving but also excited at the prospect of studying a course I am passionate about."
