Kinver Music Festival fun
Whether it was choirs, rock and blues, flamenco or if jazz is your bag - there was something for all tastes at the Kinver Music Festival.
Hundreds of people turned out for the three-day event - now in its fourth year - with acts performing at different venues around the village.
Among the highlights was Kinver School choir performing at the village secondary school on Sunday. Pupils including, Amy Kitson, aged 12, on ukulele also showed off their talents.
Vintage vocal harmony group The Bluebird Belles kicked off the music at Harleys Smokehouse at Dunsley Hall Hotel on Friday evening with things running right through to Sunday night.
And an outdoor stage was set up at St Peter's Church Hall in the shadow of Kinver Edge with a barbecue and real ale bar and blues sensation Ian Parker, from Stourbridge, headlined there on Saturday night.
Other venues taking part was the Kinver Sports and Community Association, The Plough & Harrow, The Cross Inn and The Tea Rooms among others.
Organiser Tim Charnock said: "The weekend was a great success again.
"We had blistering sets from The Ian Parker Band, Drifter and Big Jim and his Gumbo Shakers to mention a few and all the artistes put great sets together for the occasion.
"Special thanks go to all the sponsors who make the event possible and to Simon from Think Creative who generated all the publicity materials.
"Behind the scenes Rotary were busy selling raffle tickets by the hundreds and we will have a substantial charity donation confirmed in the next few days."
The fourth annual Kinver Music Festival is running in the village this weekend.
Free performances are taking place at several venues including an afternoon of music on an open air stage outside St Peter’s Church Hall today(SAT).
Tonight blues guitarist Ian Parker and his band will be playing in the church hall .
Tomorrow there is a full programme of music at Dunsley Hall Hotel starting with Three Blind Mice at 1pm. Beth Sherburn and Dan Greenway are also playing and Big Jim and The Gumbo Shakers headline from 7pm.
