Go-ahead for 50ft phone mast outside Black Country care home
A 50ft phone mast is to be built outside a Black Country nursing home, after permission was granted by planning officers.
Dudley Council's planning department gave the go-ahead for the 5G mast, along with associated cabinets, to be built outside Greenleigh Care Home in Sedgley.
The mast will be built on a grass verge at the junction between Wolverhampton Road and Northway.
Case officer James Mason said the nature of the 5G network meant the equipment and antennae it used were quite different to existing requirements.
