Fire rips through scrapyard in Kingswinford
Fifteen firefighters helped tackle a fire at a scrapyard in the Black Country.
Crews from Dudley, Brierley Hill and Tipton were called to the scrap metal blaze in Oak Lane, Kingswinford.
The incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Wednesday and was tackled using hose reels and a main jet.
It took around three hours for the crews to bring the blaze under control.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said: "We were called at 5.30pm and the Dudley, Brierley Hill and Tipton crews were in attendance.
"There was a large amount of scrap metal and waste on fire.
"It appears to have been accidental rather than an arson."
Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two main jets to tackle the fire.
