Gymnast sets new pancake flip challenge
Black Country gymnast Dominick Cunningham has taken on the classic pancake flip with a twist - well actually a flip.
As its Pancake Today today, there's no doubt people will have been flipping pancakes in their home, in what is a popular tradition.
And Dominick, who used to train Earls Gymnastics Club in Halesowen, has tried to flip a pancake while performing a back-flip.
The 23-year-old, who won Gold at the 2018 Commonweath Games, almost pulled it off as he revealed in a video published to Twitter.
Now he is challenging fellow gymnasts to take on the daring challenge.
He tweeted: "BACKFLIP PANCAKE FLIP 😂😂😂 Kind of got lost looking for the pancake 😂😂 I CHALLENGE SOMEONE TO DO THIS!! SHOW ME YOUR ATTEMPTS TAG ME AND USE THE HASHTAG #pancakedom I’ll repost some attempts 😂 I WANT TO SEE THIS HAPPEN! STAY SAFE!!😉"
