Two taken to hospital after smash between bus and car

Two people have been taken to hospital after a car and bus collided on a main road near Coseley.

The crash happened at the junction of Hall Lane and Gorge Road

Emergency services rushed to the junction of Hall Lane and Gorge Road, in Cinder Hill, just after 10.30am today.

Four patients were treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the care, a man in his 30s, was taken to New Cross Hospital along with a back-seat passenger, a woman also in her 30s.

Two ambulances were sent to the scene with a paramedic officer.

The other patients were discharged after being treated, a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
