Brierley Hill public toilets to reopen after 10 years
The multi-million pound refurbishment of a Black Country town's High Street has taken another step forward.
Traders, Community Forum members and Brierley Hill ward councillors have welcomed the completion of work on new public toilets, which have been closed for 10 years.
The new facilities which are located on Little Cottage Street have received a full internal refit, external makeover and are due to open to the public in the early part of October.
The £5 million scheme includes new pavements, benches and planters in the high street, transport upgrades and improvements to some historic buildings as part of the regeneration planned help attract new businesses and shoppers into the town.
