Five crews are currently tackling the blaze that broke out on Shaw Road in Blowers Green, Dudley.

The area is largely occupied by industrial units and businesses.

People have been advised to avoid the area, and residents living nearby have been told to keep their windows and doors closed.

It is the second fire to have broken out in Dudley on Friday.

Shortly before 6.30am, 30 firefighters were called to the single-storey building on Mons Hill in Woodsetton where around 70 per cent of the property had been affected by the blaze, a West Midlands Fire Service spokesperson said.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the factory as it was alight.
