Fundraiser launches in bid to rebuild kennels near Dudley where devastating fire killed 11 dogs
A fundraiser has been launched to rebuild kennels near Dudley where a devastating fire killed 11 dogs.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the blaze at Bluerose Dog Park, Swindon, at around 12.30am on August 26.
The crews managed to douse the fire, but 11 dogs – who all belonged to the owners of Bluerose Dog Park – were found afterwards to have died in the incident.
Police said the blaze had been caused by an accidental electrical fault.
An online fundraising page has now been set up by Mark Butcher which aims to support the rebuild of the kennels and more than £600 has been donated so far.
It is aiming to raise £5,000.
