Three arrested following Merry Hill robbery
Three people have been arrested after a robbery in Merry Hill Shopping Centre car park.
At around 5.20pm, a teenager and his brother were approached by three people, aged 18 and two 16-year-olds, who asked to use the teenager's phone and try on his bag, when the boy asked for his items to be returned the suspects fled.
Police quickly arrived on the scene, where they spotted the suspects and following a brief chase, the three people were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
The stolen items have been returned to the owner.
