Himley Hall and Park to close for driveway repairs
Himley Hall and Park will close briefly next month – for work to repair the driveway to take place.
The popular spot will be closed throughout Tuesday, June 8, for the essential maintenance work to take place.
During the repairs, people will not be allowed on to the site at all, but they will be able to access the venue and grounds as normal again, once the work has been completed on Wednesday, June 9.
Councillor Simon Phipps, Dudley Council's cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said: "I would like thank people for understanding why we need to close Himley Hall and Park on June 8.
"This important work will help us to maintain the driveway to the park for all our visitors."
The much-loved park has been popular for those getting their daily exercise during the coronavirus pandemics.
