Trio fined after travelling 100 miles to Dudley for children's party
Three men who travelled more than 100 miles to the Black Country for a child's birthday party have been given coronavirus fines.
The group were pulled over by police in Dudley town centre at around 1.40am on Saturday, February 13.
They then claimed they had travelled from Cambridge to Dudley for a six-year-old's birthday party.
The men were issued with tickets after breaching Covid regulations.
Their excuse for leaving home was branded as "unacceptable" by police.
