Man taken to hospital with 'potentially serious injuries' after being hit by car in Pensnett
A man has been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after being hit by a car outside a pub in Pensnett.
The pedestrian was hit outside the Lenches Bridge Pub on the High Street and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after the incident at 5pm on Monday and now remains in a stable condition.
Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and a BASICS emergency doctor attended, a spokesman for the ambulance service said.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said the driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
