'Dow Gerrum Riffy': Shop sells bostin' Christmas gifts
A Black Country business believes it has come up with the perfect gift just in time for Christmas.
Black Country T Shirts, based in Castle Street in Dudley, sells gifts promoting the area’s culture and dialect.
This year, the store will be selling Black Country socks for the festive season.
The socks will feature a repeating pattern of the Black Country Flag, alongside the message “Dow Gerrum Riffy”.
Socks are the latest addition by the team who are dedicated to promoting all things Black Country.
The shop also sells protective face masks, clothing and mugs, as well as many other personalised items.
Black Country T Shirts has been selling items promoting the area for more than 13 years and also helps to support charitable causes in the community.
Recently, it forwent a Black Friday sale, instead of reducing prices the store donate the equivalent of the money that the customer would save to Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Steve added: “We wanted to give the people who buy into what we do and who want to purchase from us, the opportunity to invest in something that will positively affect people’s lives in the Black Country.”
In total the sale raised £500 for the charity which provides specialist care for children and young people.
