The 28-year-old, of Kilburn Place, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Monday morning charged with causing death by dangerous driving, drink driving, driving while disqualified, failing to stop and report a collision, aggravated taking a vehicle without consent and having no insurance.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on April 6.
