Arrest after 100 cannabis plants found at Netherton house

A man was arrested after around 100 cannabis plants were found at a house in Dudley.

Police were called to reports of suspicious activity in New Road, Netherton, on Saturday night.

They discovered 100 cannabis plants inside the property.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. He was later released without charge.

A spokesman for the force: "We were called to reports of suspicious activity at a house on New Road, Netherton, at 9.42pm on Saturday.

"On arrival, 100 cannabis plants were discovered and a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. He was later released without charge.

"Investigations continue and anyone with information can contact us."
