Teenage girls injured after being hit by car in Dudley

Two teenage girls were taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Dudley.

Emergency services were called to Stafford Street, near Dudley Magistrates' Court, at about 6.20pm on Monday.

One girl was treated for potentially serious injuries and was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital, said West Midlands Ambulance Service.

The second girl suffered injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. She was taken to Birmingham's Heartlands Hospital for further care.

West Midlands Police has been approached for comment.
