Woman found dead at house in Dudley

A woman has been found dead at a house in Dudley this morning.

The woman, aged in her 30s, was found unresponsive at a house in Netherton at around 4.15am this morning.

Police were called to the property in Golden Hillock Road, just off Cradley Road, where she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious,West Midlands Police said.

It is not yet known how she died.

A spokesman from the force said: "Police were called after a woman was found unresponsive at an address in Golden Hillock Road, Dudley, in the early hours of this morning.

"Sadly the woman, in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Her death is not being treated as suspicious."

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman added: "We were called to reports of a cardiac arrest at 4.14am at a property on Golden Hillock Road, Netherton.

"Two ambulances, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor attended the scene.

"Ambulance staff arrived to find a woman in a critical condition and administered advanced life support.

"Sadly, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead on scene."
