Himley Hall Winter Lights event cancelled due to poor ground conditions

The Winter Lights event took place at Himley on Friday and Saturday and saw the grounds lit up in colourful lights.

The event, organised by Countrywide Events, saw lighting installations around the grounds to create a forest of light. The woods was lit up, while the shimmering lights were reflected in the lakes and waterfall.

But due to Himley Hall's poor ground conditions following the rain throughout the night, Sunday evening's event has been cancelled.

A spokesman for the event said: "Sorry but due to very poor ground conditions the Winter Lights event run by Countrywide Events has been cancelled. For any further information please contact Contrywide Events."
