Nigel Farage is coming to Willenhall and Dudley

He will visit Dudley and Willenhall on Friday to stage two major public meetings.

It comes after Mr Farage announced on Monday that the Brexit Party had stood down more than 300 candidates in seats held by Tories from the last general election.

The Brexit Party will not be standing candidates in constituencies including Walsall North, Dudley South, Stourbridge and South Staffordshire, marking a major climbdown for Mr Farage, who last week said his party was putting forward 600 candidates.

Mr Farage will be at Dudley Town Hall at 11am, followed by the Willows, in Bath Street, in Willenhall, at 7pm. Tickets for the events cost £2.50 each.

Doors open at Dudley at 10.30am and Willenhall at 6pm.

Mr Farage said: "We are touring Britain, campaigning for the most important General Election of our lifetimes.

"The December 12 election could finally decide the battle for Brexit.

“I will be addressing Leavers across the country, to make the case for a Clean-Break Brexit and explain The Brexit Party’s plans to change politics for good.”
