Fire exercise at Dudley Zoo
A fire training exercise is taking place at Dudley Zoo this evening.
Dudley Fire Station has warned residents not to be alarmed if smoke and fire engines can be seen on the site, as firefighters are supporting the zoo with a training exercise.
Firefighters from the station tweeted saying: "Please don’t be alarmed this evening around @dudleyzoo as @WestMidsFire @SWMFireControl are supporting the zoo with a training exercise, there will be simulated smoke and fire appliances on site with zoo staff."
