Two cut free from wrecks in two vehicle crash in Bridgnorth

Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in Bridgnorth on Thursday afternoon.

The crash on the A442 involved two vehicles, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has said.

SFRS said they sent five fire engines to the scene at around 3.10pm.

A spokesperson said fire crews were required to cut two people from free from the cars.

West Mercia Police said they got the call just before 3pm and the incident was near to the Fenn Green junction.

A spokesperson said: "We were called at around 2.55pm today (Thursday 7 November) to the A442 in Alveley near to the Fenn Green junction, to reports of a collision involving two vehicles. Officers attended the scene and made the area safe.”

West Midlands Ambulance Service were also on the scene and have been approached for further details.
