More bus diversions for roadworks on Black Country and Staffordshire services

Bus passengers on routes across the Black Country are facing more diversions as roadwork projects roll on.

Gainsborough Drive, in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton is among the roads temporarily closed for carriageway repairs.

 As a result bus operator National Express West Midlands said the number 10 and 10A which operates between Wolverhampton and Perton in Staffordshire is  being diverted between 8am and4pm tomorrow(Friday).

The company posted on X, formerly Twitter: "Gainsborough Drive closed for resurfacing. 10/10A to Perton diverted Yew Tree Lane, Wergs Road, Wrottesley Park Road, The Parkway to Wolverhampton. Reverse of above."

Today in Walsall between 9.30am and 2.30pm the A454 Walsall Road will be closed between Crown Lane and Streetly Lane, in Streetly, meaning the number six between Walsall and Sutton Coldfield will be diverted to Rosemary Hill Road before picking the normal route and vice versa.

In Dudley, High Street is closed for overnight resurfacing works 7pm - 3am  8 to Wollaston Farm From The Inhedge: Stafford Street, Wellington Road,  Aston Road, Blowers Green Road to Wolverhampton = Wellington Road and Reverse of above.
