Police called to Birmingham property where two people found dead
A man and a woman have been found dead at a property in Birmingham.
Police were called to the scene at a multi-occupancy house in Hunters Road just after midday on Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman in her 40s who was deceased.
A man, who was in his 50s, was also found dead in the same property.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to a medical emergency at an address on Hunters Road in Birmingham at 11.35am on Saturday. An ambulance was sent to the scene, arriving in three minutes, and found a female patient. Sadly, it quickly became clear that she could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.
"We were alerted to a medical emergency at an address on Hunters Road in Birmingham at 12.32pm while attending a separate incident in the same building. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended and crews discovered one male patient. Sadly, it quickly became clear that he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene."
West Midlands Police say the deaths are not being treated as suspicious and have been referred to a coroner.
