Fire rips through derelict city pub
Firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict pub in Birmingham.

Crews were called out around 7am on Saturday to tackle the fire at the former Vine pub, on Lichfield Road in Aston, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
At lunchtime, West Midlands Fire Service said crews had worked hard to contain the blaze and that Lichfield Road was now open both ways in and out of the city.
It said businesses in the area remained open and continued to operate.
