Crash on Aston Expressway causing long tailbacks on M6
A rush hour crash on the Aston Expressway has caused long tailbacks on the M6 in both directions.
Two lanes are closed on the Expressway and motorists are being urged to avoid the area this morning.
Transport for West Midlands West Midlands tweeted at 10.15am: "Collision! Two lanes are closed on the A38M Aston Expressway southbound/citybound.
"This is causing long delays on the M6 in both directions around J6."
"Allow extra time if travelling into city."
