Greens announce candidate for Erdington by-election
The Green Party has announced its candidate for the Erdington constituency by-election next month.
Businesswoman and community campaigner Siobhan Harper-Nunes will stand in the election, which came about after the death of Labour MP Jack Dromey.
A spokesman for the Green Party said Ms Harper-Nunes had over 20 years experience of forging partnerships and supporting community organisations to secure vital funds for area projects in Birmingham.
The Conservative Party yesterday announced its candidate as Robert Alden.
The by-election, which will be held on Thursday, March 3.
