Body found in river in Birmingham
A body was found in a river in Birmingham.
The body, thought to be a man, was found in the River Tame off Park Lane in Handsworth Wood just before 12.30pm on December 16, police said.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to a report of a body, thought to be a man, being found in the River Tame off Park Lane, Handsworth Wood, just before 12.30pm on Wednesday 16 December.
"Following a post mortem, the matter has been referred to the coroner."
