Murder arrest after fatal shooting in Birmingham
Detectives investigating a fatal shooting in Birmingham have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.
West Midlands Police acted on information and arrested a 28-year-old man from an address in Sheffield this morning.
The suspect has been transported back to a custody block in the West Midlands for questioning.
Murtaza Nazier, 26, was killed in Bagshaw Road, Stetchford, on Friday, August 28.
A 22-year-old man has already been charged with his murder and remanded into custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Scott Griffiths, from the force's homicide unit, said: "This is another significant development in our investigation.
"However, this enquiry is very much ongoing and we believe there are still people out there with information which can help us. We need them to come forward."
