Teenager falls to his death at Birmingham tower block
A man has died after falling from a block of flats in Birmingham.
Emergency services were sent to the scene at Teviot Tower off Mosborough Crescent, Lozells, on Sunday afternoon.
The 19-year-old man was confirmed dead at the scene. Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "The body of a 19-year-old man was found outside a block of flats on Mosborough Crescent in Lozells, Birmingham just after 4pm on Sunday afternoon.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner."
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by the police at 4:09pm on Sunday to reports a patient had fallen from height.
"Two ambulances, one paramedic officer and the West Midlands Care Team attended the scene.
"On arrival we found one patient, a man. Sadly, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
