Attempted murder arrested after police officer hit by car in Birmingham
A West Midlands Police officer has been seriously injured after being run over by a suspected car thief in Birmingham.
The force has said the officer is currently being treated in hospital for head and pelvic injuries, following the incident today.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
