A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police Collision Investigation Officers have cordoned off Chester Road after a woman was knocked over by a car

The victim suffered 'potentially life changing injuries' say West Midlands Ambulance Service.

The crash happened in Chester Road, Castle Vale, at around 9.10am on Monday.
