Person hit by train at Marston Green station
Train lines between two busy Birmingham stations were blocked after a person was hit by a train.
British Transport Police said the incident occurred just before 1pm on Friday at Marston Green.
Services to Birmingham New Street were affected by the incident.
Services were cancelled from Marston Green, including to New Street, Coventry and London Euston, and passengers were advised to use other trains or buses.
Network Rail confirmed the line had reopened at around 3.30pm but no trains were calling at Marston Green into the evening.
