Panto stars visit Birmingham Children's Hospital
What a star! Beverley Knight was among a troupe of panto actors who visited a hospital and scattered magic across the wards, helping to inspire youngsters and staff alike.
The stars, including former Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw, dropped in on the wards at Birmingham Children’s Hospital to spread cheer among the battling youngsters.
The group from Birmingham Hippodrome’s performance of Cinderella also took time out from chatting to the children at the hospital to pose for photos with staff. Soul singer Beverley, from Wolverhampton, starred as The Fairy Godmother in her first pantomime role, while Suzanne played the title character.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital said in a statement: “Cinderella dropped by our hospital to spread magic across the wards.
“We had some very excited children.”
The pantomime comes to an end on Sunday.
